hiring process is to have a record check completed by the Holland Township Police Department.  This
record check
MUST be done by every applicant, regardless of past employment with Holland Township
and/or the Riegel Ridge Community Center.  There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Below is a list of dates and times that applicants can be processed for record checks.  Each applicant must
contact the police department at (908) 995-4670,
fifteen (15) minutes prior to the time they wish to be
processed; this will help ensure that an officer will be available.  (For example, if you wish to be processed at
3:30 pm please call at 3:15 pm.)

Record Check Dates & Times:
February-
7th (11am – 7pm)
8th (11am – 7pm)
11th (11am – 7pm)
25th (11am – 7pm)
26th (11 am – 7pm)

March – June-  Monday – Friday (10 am – 2 pm, only)   OR

March 6 (10 am – 10pm)                                        May 17 (10 am – 10pm)
March 24 (10 am – 10pm)                                        May 26 (10 am – 10pm)

April 11 (10 am – 10pm)                                        June 13 (10 am – 10pm)
April 20 (10 am – 10pm)                                        June 22 (10 am – 10pm)
April 29 (10 am – 10pm)

What You Must Bring to Your Appointment

Remember, each applicant must contact the police department at (908) 995-4670, fifteen (15) minutes
prior to the time they wish to be processed; this will help ensure that an officer will be available.

If you are under the age of 18-

If you are under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian at the time of your
appointment.  Applicants need to bring a valid ID- driver’s license, school ID or birth certificate.  You will
also need to supply your social security number to the officer.  Please ensure that you have this information
available, as this can slow down the process.  Parents/Legal Guardians are asked to bring their driver’s
license for ID.  Applicants under the age of 18 will not be fingerprinted.  A record check will be conducted by
the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, regardless if you were previously hired by Holland Township
and/or the Riegel Ridge Community Center.

If you are 18 or older-

If you are 18 or older, no parent or legal guardian is needed at your appointment.  Please ensure that you
bring proper ID with you and have your social security number available to supply to the officer.  You will
not be processed without proper ID and your social security number.  Applicants 18 or older will be
required to have fingerprints taken through MorphoTrak, regardless if you were previously hired by
Holland Township and/or the Riegel Ridge Community Center.  Paperwork for fingerprinting will be
supplied to you during your appointment.
